Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the VA Jobs platform, operated by Internet Nederland B.V., trading as Virtual Assistant International (Willem Elsschotlaan 1, 1187WP Amstelveen, the Netherlands, KvK 42063743) ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

1. Using the platform

VA Jobs is a job board connecting virtual assistants with employers. Browsing and searching are open to everyone. Some features (saving jobs, viewing direct-employer contact details, and posting vacancies) require a free account.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login secure. One account holds one role (virtual assistant, employer, or administrator). You must be at least 18 years old to register.

3. Job listings

• Employers are solely responsible for the content, legality, and accuracy of their postings.
• Some listings are curated from third-party sources and link out to the original site to apply.
• We may unpublish any listing that breaches our content guidelines, with notice and a reason to the employer.

4. Acceptable use

Do not post misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, or unlawful content; do not scrape, resell, or republish listings; and do not attempt to circumvent platform security. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

5. Liability

We provide the platform "as is" and make best efforts to connect virtual assistants with employers, but we do not guarantee any job placement, hire, or outcome. We are not a party to any employment relationship formed through the platform and are not liable for an employer's conduct, hiring decisions, payments, or disputes between VAs and employers, nor for failures of third parties such as payment processors or hosting providers. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us for the relevant service, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential damages.

Privacy Policy

Internet Nederland B.V., trading as Virtual Assistant International, processes personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG). Our servers and database are hosted in the EU. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

What we collect

• Account data: name, email, role, and the profile details you provide (headline, bio, skills, CV).
• Usage data: saved jobs, searches, and outbound clicks, used to improve recommendations.
• Analytics: collected only after you accept the cookie banner.

Why we use it

To run your account (contractual basis), to display and recommend relevant jobs, and, with your consent, to send job alerts and load product analytics. We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your data, to data portability, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these from your account settings, or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your profile and saved jobs and anonymises your activity logs.

Data sharing

We share data only with processors that help us operate the platform, such as our hosting provider, Learnhouse (course delivery), Brevo (email), and Stripe (payments), each under a data-processing agreement. Outbound links to third-party job sites and employers are governed by those parties' own policies.

Cookie Policy

We keep cookies to a minimum. Essential cookies that make the site work are always on; everything else waits for your consent.

Essential

Required for login, security, and remembering your session. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics (consent required)

Privacy-friendly analytics hosted in the EU (PostHog). Before you choose, we measure page usage without cookies or any identifier stored on your device. If you click Accept, we set a first-party analytics cookie so we can recognise returning visits and link usage to your account with a pseudonymous ID. If you decline, we keep measuring without cookies. We never send your name, email address or message contents to analytics.

Managing cookies

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing cookies in your browser or re-opening the consent banner. Declining analytics does not affect any account feature.
